Dying Light Is Getting Augmented Next Year
We were not fans of Techland’s Dying Light but many seem to have taken to it quite fetchingly. It’s no surprise then that Dying Light is staring down the barrel of a massive expansion and an Enhanced Edition to boot.
Dying Light is on its way to becoming an altogether different game.

It all starts with the expansion which turned out to be bigger than expected – The Following. It introduces a whole new wilderness setting with new missions and zombie-proof buggies.
Dying Light’s Enhanced Edition takes The Following and throws in a massive title update which adds new first-person parkour moves, more animations throughout the game, enhanced AI, a ‘nightmare’ difficulty mode and ‘enhanced facial expressions.’
Voila! You’ve got a full-price re-release that could well make the game a damn sight better.
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition will sell for $60 and way too many characters for its own good. Alternatively, you could get the expansion now for $15 or wait till next year when it’ll cost you $20. If you own Dying Light already then the massive update will be free to you. Either way, the Enhanced Edition and expansion are out in February 2016.
