Saying Xenoblade Chronicles X is releasing soon feels a little weird. The game has been out for quite a while, it’s just finally gone through the lengthy localisation process and is now being released in the west. While reviews for the game should be coming out soon, the positive reception the game has received has me rather excited.
Nintendo has released a new trailer showing off the combat of Xenoblade Chronicles X. This trailer focuses on both the standard gameplay as well as how the Skells can be used in game.
I will admit, the gameplay looks incredibly different from what we’ve come to expect from JRPGs but those Skells steal the show. I can’t think of a recent game that has had any cool mech gameplay so this game comes, at least to me, as a welcome change.
Xenoblade Chronicles X is releasing on the 4th of December on the Nintendo Wii U
