Set to the tune of Gangster’s Paradise — a laughable choice admittedly, but so perfect for setting the scene here — the new Need for Speed brings back the car culture element of the long-running racer franchise, with the cheesy FMV sequences featuring people gamers will undoubtedly cringe at, but more importantly all the customisation they could ever hope for.
And really, that’s the kind of racing title we all want. Something that lets us celebrate and enjoy car culture, allowing us to tweak and tune, and then race our sexy creations. The thing that made Underground work, in the first place. Here’s hoping we get more of that in the new Need for Speed, when it releases. Let us know in the comments, how you feel about this new rebooted NFS racer.
