Sony Withholding The Last Guardian Footage
It’s for your benefit apparently.
Ever since The Last Guardian was officially revived during one of the most memorable E3 conferences of all time, fans have been drooling while Sony has been watching without giving us anything else on the game.
In case your old fears about The Last Guardian are returning, there’s actually a weird reason as to why you haven’t seen any more footage surface. It’s not development hell all over again, but rather in the interest of not giving too much away.

According to Sony Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida Sony is withholding The Last Guardian footage in order to preserve the story.
“Development is going well, but because it’s about the story, we don’t want to show too much,” Yoshida told GameSpot. “We wanted to show that it exists, it works, it runs. It’s not like we won’t show anything before launch, but I think we will try to limit what we show about the game.”
We’re sure that people began to worry again when The Last Guardian was completely absent from both the Tokyo Games Show and Paris Games Week events. However if words are to be believed here then it’s just deliberately to keep the game fresh.
Or perhaps it’s just a ruse to cover the fact that since the announcement at E3 only 2% of progress has actually been made. Who knows!
The Last Guardian doesn’t have a release date for PS4 yet, but it will be out somewhere in 2016.
