Beyond: Two Souls Remaster Releasing Very Soon, Heavy Rain To Follow Later
Emotions. I look at a face of a digital person and I try to see what they feel, what they experienced and what emotions they are feeling. The better you can see a person’s face, the better you can understand their emotions. Emotions are polygons. Emotions.
I hope you enjoyed my David Cage impression.

While it is too easy to make fun of David Cage and his “ostentatious” methods of writing and directing, the man’s games have some merits. Heavy Rain was a hit during the PS3 era which resonated with many people. As an Xbox 360 gamer myself in the previous generation, I never got the chance to experience the game, but many of my friends and contemporaries recommended it on a constant basis.
I have played Beyond: Two Souls, however, which many consider to be a poor game even though I thought it really wasn’t that bad barring some loony writing and poorly executed sections.
No matter your opinion, Quantic Dream’s games are at least interesting and a bit different from the norm. They at least attempt to try something different with digital storytelling.
If you’re like me and haven’t experienced the games in the previous gen, but have a PS4 now, you’ll be pleased (or horrified) to hear that the games have been remastered and will be releasing on the new platform. Beyond: Two Souls releases really soon on the 24th of November, but Heavy Rain is only coming on the 1st of March 2016.
The games will be cost less than normal with Beyond having a RRP of $30. Added to that, people that buy the digital version will be entitled to a discount for Heavy Rain when it releases.
