Get A Reminder Of How Bad Superhero Films Can Be
Did I use the past tense there? I meant still can be and potentially could be. The quality of superhero films has been on a generally upward trending curve but that doesn’t stop a few lemons from sneaking in every now and again.
With Marvel, DC and even Fox getting their acts together we’re finally seeing heroes getting treated well on both TV and silverscreen.

Even the best films involving characters from comic books make us cringe sometimes butt he cringe factor ramps up exponentially the worse the film is.
You only have to look at Daredevil, Spider-Man 3, Fantastic Four, anything after Superman II, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, The Wolverine, Green Lantern, X-Men: The Last Stand, Kick Ass 2, Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, Catwoman, the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Hulk or TMNT to see what I mean.
Typing that list has left me sad. I might actually go watch Ant-man to boost my spirits.
Speaking of bad, the new Fantastic Four film is getting critically panned which is hardly a surprise. I will reserve final judgment until I’ve seen the film for myself but it seems like Fox might just have to pull a Sony with this franchise.
