Batman: Arkham Knight PC Sales Have Been Suspended
If you’ve been alive this week you may have been noticing the current well-justified outrage over the pathetic PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight, which is something many have a lot to answer for. While the game is currently enjoying stellar reviews on console, the PC version has caused widespread anger and disgust made worse by all the shady business and Warner Bros being no strangers to rubbish PC ports, with Mortal Kombat X being the last victim of their hubris.
It seems Warner Bros has decided to take drastic action this time as Batman: Arkham Knight is no longer for sale on PC, in an attempt to show how serious the publisher is about fixing the issues the game faces on the master race platform.

“We want to apologize to those of you who are experiencing performance issues with Batman: Arkham Knight on PC. We take these issues very seriously and have therefore decided to suspend future game sales of the PC version while we work to address these issues to satisfy our quality standards,” a Warner Bros representative stated on the publisher’s forums.
Warner Bros also said that it is currently closely monitoring feedback to help address the many issues with the PC port.
“Batman: Arkham fans have continually supported the franchise to its current height of success, and we want to thank you for your patience as we work to deliver an updated version of Batman: Arkham Knight on PC so you can all enjoy the final chapter of the Batman: Arkham series as it was meant to be played,” Warner Bros said.
Yes, and I hope including the fucking Ultra settings is part of that plan for an updated Arkham Knight on PC.
Warner Bros suggested that upset players may want to consider a Steam or retail refund while these issues are being addressed.
It’s great to see the publisher take responsibility and action for the rubbish state of the Arkham Knight PC port, but that doesn’t excuse the absolute shady practice behind it and the unacceptable nature of the port itself. Hopefully we can put this behind us soon when the updated PC version rolls out and the game functions as it ideally should, because Batman: Arkham Knight really is a wonderful game, and more so it’s one of the most beautiful games ever created.
We’ll keep you posted on this story as it develops.
