Lindsay Lohan Sues Rockstar Over Alleged Appearance In GTA V
GTA V had its one or two controversies, but this one is rather laughable. Actress Lindsay Lohan has sued Rockstar Games over an alleged misuse of her image in GTA V.
The lawsuit was filed on Wednesday in a Manhattan court, according to the Associated Press. Lohan’s suit claims that the Lacey Jonas character from GTA V, who appears in a mission where players assist her in avoiding the pararazzi, was modeled after her without her permission.

The suit further claims that Lohan’s image, voice and even styles from her clothing line are depicted in GTA V. And for even more giggles, the game also allegedly features another Lohan-inspired mission in its version of the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood, where Lohan lived once upon a time.
Take-Two, the parent company of Rockstar, has declined the Associated Press’ request for comment. Reports of this lawsuit first surfaced in December on celebrity gossip blog TMZ.
Meanwhile, GTA V has been having a killing of a time with it having surpassed $1 billion in sales within three days of its release on PS3 and Xbox 360 in September 2013. Now, GTA V will be heading to PC, PS4 and Xbox One soon enough, and one can only imagine the kind of success it will bring then.
