Glitch (Hopefully) Results In EA Charging For Demos On Xbox One
EA, I wouldn’t put anything past you. But just this one time I am hoping that you are the victim of a glitch, and not resorting to the next innovative scheme you have planned to extort people. I’m actually going to give you the benefit of the doubt this one time, as the issue does appear to be an obvious glitch.
What issue is that, you may ask? Well, people have noticed that on the Xbox One marketplace, for some random reason the demos for FIFA 14 and EA Sports UFC are currently $4.99. Yes, the demos have an actual price tag attached and can be bought.

It’s reasonable to think this is an error, but how does it occur on a title like FIFA 14, which is old, and occur for two different titles? That is some error. Still, it’s bizarre enough that it’s eyebrow raising. I’ve read some comments that it’s been fixed in some regions, but not all, so be wary.
Perhaps this is a crowd funding scheme so that EA can fix their games.
