Deep Silver Announces New Game Escape Dead Island
Dead Island is neither the most original nor the greatest of games, but it’s certainly gained quite a lot of popularity over the years. While the original developers Techland are off creating Dying Light, Yager Development is busy making Dead Island 2, which is definitely a surprise from the good people who made the amazing Spec Ops: The Line. So what exactly is this now?
Well, publisher Deep Silver has just announced Escape Dead Island, which is a new entry in the series that will take place between the first and second games. However, it will be for last generation platforms, which means PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Alex Toplansky, the game’s narrative producer, told the PlayStation blog that Escape Dead Island would offer a “fresh perspective” on the series when it releases later this year around September. This will be because it’s a third person survival mystery, rather than the usual brand of Dead Island gameplay.
Escape Dead Island will take place between Dead Island and Dead Island 2, as already mentioned, and will reveal how the virus initially started.
