Gran Turismo 7 In Development, But It Won’t Release This Year
Gran Turismo 7 is one of the certainties we have for the PS4’s future, that is unless in a surprise twist it turns out to actually still be a PS3 title because reasons. Jokes aside, the man in charge of the series the producer of the series and leading man at Polyphony Digital Kazunori Yamauchi has confirmed that Gran Turismo 7 is currently in development.
However, before any fans get their hopes up, he also said that it’s unlikely release any time before 2015.

Speaking to Eurogamer, he said “We are working on the title.”
“I don’t think it’ll make this year! I don’t think it’ll be a Prologue.
“I doubt that we’ll be throwing away the standard cars. Each car has its own fans. So I think we’ll hang on to the archive. In the meanwhile, some of those cars we may be able to make into Premium cars as they become available – but basically we’re more focussed on increasing the number of premium cars.”
Nothing is confirmed yet, but it’s a safe bet to assume that Gran Turismo 7 will be the first title in the series to be on PS4, unless those rumours of Gran Turismo 6 being ported actually do come to fruition. Polyphony sure do love cars enough for that.
