Join In Turn-based Mech Battles With Acaratus
So what exactly is Acaratus you ask? Well the game is an episodic turn-based tactical RPG set within a medieval steampunk world, in development by Swedish studio Nodbrim Interactive. Acaratus looks to combine tactical RPG mechanics with awesome mecha combat, in what promises to be an exciting premise.
In Acaratus, each player commands giant “battle-suits” (or for everyone else Steampunk mecha) which fight in various arenas across the known world. War is always constant and you can choose to fight for the side you most favour. The game itself will have a strong emphasis on tactical movements in battle and in-depth character management, which all sounds very intriguing.

Acaratus will have a large variety of modular attachments for you to equip your mech with, and there will be a whole host of customisation options in order for you build a war worthy battle suit.
All of the battles you participate in will be during wartime, due to an industrial revolution that came very early, with it the power of steam and steam-powered mecha leading to warring factions. This is very much the driving force of the story.
The game will allow you to build a mech to suit your play-style with many options available to balance your character between shields, armour and heavy weapons. Acaratus is a game about quick decisions, combining tactis and a strategic mindset. The game is still in development for PC and has no set release date as of yet.
