Xbox 360, Coming Soon To An Xbox One Near You
As far as emulation is concerned, we’re not going to see PS3 emulation on the PS4 however, Microsoft seems a little more hopeful of Xbox 360 emulation on the Xbox One.
Microsoft’s Frank Savage has said the company is considering bringing emulation to the Xbox One so that your new console can play all of your old games.

ccording to Kotaku, Savage was asked if there are any plans for an Xbox 360 emulator on Xbox One during Microsoft’s Build developer conference.
“There are, but we’re not done thinking them through yet, unfortunately,” he replied.
“It turns out to be hard to emulate the PowerPC stuff on the X86 stuff. So there’s nothing to announce, but I would love to see it myself.”
There’s a vast gulf between what’s hard to do and what is impossible.
Microsoft could emulate (hehe) Sony here with what they’re doing with PlayStation Now. The PS4 might not offer backwards compatibility but Gaikei cloud streaming allows you to play PS3 titles, for a fee.
Microsoft could make Xbox 360 titles digitally available for download or they could be the nice guys and make it so users can just stick their old 360 games in and play.
