Watch_Dogs “Ultra” Specifications Are Probably Far Beyond Your Reach

Last week Ubisoft literally shut the internet up when they revealed that the PC version of Watch_Dogs looks identical to the E3 2012 demo they revealed the game with. A big win for them, after being bombarded with claims that the game had been marketed with lies and that it was never aiming to look nearly as good as previously hoped.
Problem is, just how much juice was needed to get the game looking that good? According to Ubisoft, a good metric ton of juice, so to speak.

The PC demo we all saw last week was a showcase of Wacth_Dog’s “ultra” settings. Now, Ubisoft have confirmed these, which means those with new or particularly powerful rigs should listen up. If you’re going to want to run Watch_Dogs on Ultra, the bare minimum you’ll need is a Intel Core i7-4770K with a GeForce 780. Or the AMD equivalent.
Here’s the real kicker though. That PC trailer? Yeah, well that was running all nice and smooth…on an Intel Core i7-3930K with a GeForce Titan. That’s over R20 000 for those two parts alone locally. So we’re basically looking over at that elite few and feeling pretty jealous right about now.
There’s no doubt Watch_Dogs will be a pretty game on PC. I mean, the recommended specifications aren’t exactly that higher, so I’m sure that most PC gamers out there will get more than enough out of their rig. But man, if this doesn’t start screaming “upgrade” to you, then I don’t know what will.
The Witcher 3 PC specifications perhaps?
