Uncharted 4’s Creative Director Joins One Of EA’s Star Wars Projects
A few weeks ago thousands of people were shocked to hear of the departure of Amy Hennig from Naughty Dog. She served as Creative Director and several Uncharted titles, and was busy helming the new one set to release on the PS4.
Hennig made a big deal about apparently being forced out of the studio, but yesterday wasn’t about that. Yesterday Hennig revealed that she was now working at Dead Space developers Visceral Games, on an unannounced Star Wars project no less.

We’ve known for a while now that Visceral is currently working on their own Star Wars titles, with DICE and BioWare doing the same. What we don’t know is what kind of Star Wars title it is, but there have been murmurs of an open-world adventure title. Something that Hennig’s experience will definitely benefit.
Visceral VP Steve Papoutsis praised Henning and her approach to game development.
“As both a colleague and friend, I’ve always admired her approach to creative development – focusing on nailing down the soul of a game first, and then making sure the writing, the gameplay, the design and the art comes together to form a unified, interactive experience for the player.”
Suffice to say, my excitement for Visceral’s title just received a massive boost. E3 is just around the corner folks.
