Say Cheers To Productivity, As Hearthstone Begins Rolling Out On iPad
Hearthstone has been slowing sucking the life out of all its players since it’s open beta launch. That’s in no way a bad connotation, considering the free trading card game is so incredible accessible while also immensely deep that you could probably consider it one of Blizzard’s finest titles in years.
The good news of today is that Blizzard have finally begun rolling out Hearthstone for mobile devices, specifically the iPad. The catch here is that it’s a soft launch, meaning you can only download the app from Australia, New Zealand and Canadian iStores.

The even better news is that the game links to your Battle.net account, so if you create a new Store account and download the app from anywhere in the world, you won’t have to worry about losing progress when it finally launches in your region. Hearthstone for iPad is exactly the same as the PC version, allowing you to enter The Arena or challenge friends on the go. As part of the welcome package, Blizzard is offering a free “lucky” booster pack to anyone who downloads, and some people have already pulled some amazing cards from them.
Blizzard hopes to launch in most other regions very, very soon, while an Android and Smartphone version of the game is set to release in the middle of this year. If you have an iPad there really is no reason for you not to try this out. Especially if this is the first you’ve heard of Hearthstone.
Be warned though. You might just get fired.
