Ridley Scott Is Working On A Halo Project
Some people cringe at the mention of Halo, I cringe at the mention of Ridley Scott because for all his filmmaking genius, he still ended up making Prometheus.
Now, he’s going to serve as executive producer while working alongside Sergio Mimica-Gezzan (who directed several episodes of the Battlestar Galactica TV series) on a Halo digital feature project.

This will not affect the Halo TV series that’s still in the works with Steven Spielberg.
A press release from Microsoft today stated, “343 Industries, Xbox Entertainment Studios and Scott Free Productions are proud to announce a new Halo digital feature project to be released later this year.”
We don’t know anything else about it but halo has had success in the past with a webseries although I can’t see Ridley Scott being brought in just for that. There’s a good chance this is something slightly ambitious.
For now, all we do is wait and hope that this means he doesn’t need to make that sequel to Prometheus.
