Prepare For Looting Mayhem, With Borderlands 2 Releasing On Vita Soon
Borderlands 2 has been know to be coming to Sony’s handheld for a while now. While we personally haven’t seen it running, a lot of international media became sceptical a few months ago after getting some time with it.
Sony apparently put those fears to rest yesterday, after anew build showed a lot more promise for the title’s handheld port. Even better news is that we’ll soon get our hands on it too, with Borderlands landing a May 13th release date on the Vita.

Now, in case you’re confused, this isn’t another separate title within the Borderlands universe. This is Borderlands 2 through and through, now just on a mobile platform to ensure even less productivity during your day. It’s easily one of the most anticipated ports for Sony’s handheld, which is saying a lot since most of the games available on the Vita are ports.
This news comes a day after a new rumour suggested that there could be a Borderlands 2 prequel sometime this year, with players aiding Handsome Jack’s rise to power. If that’s true, maybe we could see it on Vita too?
That’s pure peculation though. What isn’t is the fact that one of the best shooters of the last generation is finally becoming more portable, and there’s absolutely nothing bad about that.
