The Last Of Us Remastered Will Make You Feel Again…In 1080p
Of course this was going to happen. After numerous leaks late last month, followed by a blundering addition to the PS Store, Sony has finally revealed The Last of Us Remastered for all those lucky folks on PS4 who failed to play on of the PS3’s best title.
But we all know most of the sales are going to come from existing owners anyway. Who wouldn’t want to play this game again with all this added wye candy?

The remastered version of the game will run at 1080p, with higher resolutions, better character models, better lighting and shadows, improved texture detail and even more subtle improvements. Of course, all of this is probably going to make the entire experience a little more engrossing, bringing up all those feels in glorious HD. Just remember, Sony doesn’t confirm whether your tears at the end will be in 60 FPS or not.
That could factor into your purchasing decision, you never know.
The remastered edition will also come with all previously released DLC for The Last of Us, including the expertly crafted Left Behind, which I absolutely loved. Map packs for multiplayer will also make the cut, in case you’re still playing that far after the release.
As for the release date, you can expect The Last of Us Remastered to launch soon. In the next few months in fact. Sony hasn’t dished out a solid date yet, nor have they allowed anyone to see how much it will cost despite providing a broken pre-order link.
But hey, that won’t matter will it? By now you’ve probably already decided whether or not this small visual upgrade deserves your money again. So, are you sold already?
