The Cancelled Darth Maul Game Looks Really Good
The Force Unleashed games ranged from average to downright awful but everybody likes Darth Maul and wishes the character had more screentime in The Phantom Menace. The movie might have been a little better for it.
Anyway, Red Fly Studio is known for nothing other than the Wii version of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II. Back in 2010 the studio began working on a Darth Maul game which by all accounts looks pretty good. It’s just a pity it got canceled.

The game would have shown us a side of the Star Wars universe that we haven’t seen before. Of course, Star Wars 1313 promised the same and got canceled too we might never see that different side of the Star Wars universe.
The game had no plot or script to speak of but the artists clearly had a great vision in mind. You can check out a little gameplay footage above and a wealth of concept art below. At the very least we would have been playing as a very badass main character.
