Build A Base On The Ocean Floor With FarSky
A really interesting deep sea survival game called FarSky which looks like Minecraft underwater was released on Steam recently. The game is being developed by Tim Spekler, of Farsky Interactive. In FarSky, you take on the role of a character named Nathan who is lost in the ocean after a submarine crash.
The game pits you against underwater threats and the depths of the ocean itself. You have to learn quickly how to survive in the depths. FarSky will have you using the environment to gather resources, building a base to refill your oxygen meter and manage all your necessary items. The game will also require of you the ability to craft equipment and weapons which you can use to protect yourself and explore the environment that surrounds you. In the end, you will have to create your own in-base farm or go out fishing to get all the sustenance you need.

The true goal in FarSky is to collect all the pieces of your submarine, repair the vehicle and eventually return to the surface. The map itself is randomly generated and you can choose to play in a Sandbox mode which can give you far more freedom, and a wider map to explore. FarSky also has many predators which you will have to avoid in order to survive, and you’ll be able to create a variety of different undersea bases. FarSky is an intriguing deep sea survival game, which is out now on both Steam and Desura.
