Watch Devs Make A Game Live, With Project Cyber
Spearhead Games, the developers behind Tiny Brains, have started developing a new game called Project Cyber Disk. Project Cyber seems to be the first indie game project of its kind. The game is a 3v3 physics-based competitive sports game, which began development on March 6th, with completion of the game’s development planned for three months.
The game itself has a very experimental development model that allows players to watch, play the game and influence the creation process as the game is being actively developed. Every weekday night at 7PM ET, the latest development breakthroughs are broadcast live for all participants to view, via Twitch. You can participate for free by applying for a Steam key here. You can then give feedback through Spearhead’s official Steam group, which will influence the development of the game.

This is quite an interesting development model that holds a great deal of potential, but how it will pan out in the future is anyone’s guess. However, it is intriguing to see devs taking risks with different approaches to game development.
