Terraria Developers Become Publisher For Pixel Piracy
Re-Logic, the developers behind Terraria, and Quadro Delta, the team behind Pixel Piracy, have decided to join forces with Re-Logic who have assumed a publisher role for Pixel Piracy. Pixel Piracy is a “a side-scrolling 2d, real time strategy/sandbox/simulation game” where you play as pirate captain with a ship, and have to recruit a crew, customise and upgrade your ship whilst travelling the seven seas.
Pixel Piracy creator Vitali Kirpu had this to say about the unusual pairing:
- You’ll Be Able To Play (Expensive) PS2 Games On Your PS4 Now | 2 months ago
- Jessica Jones Disempowers Its Male Characters And The Effect Is Refreshing | 2 months ago
- Hell Is 30 000 Deathclaws Tearing Through Boston And It’s Glorious | 2 months ago
- Sony Santa Monica Is Teasing Something Truly Strange | 2 months ago
Working with Re-Logic will be an amazing opportunity to do Pixel Piracy justice. We feel that our collaboration with one of the world’s most prestigious independent studios will serve as a means to give our humble title the touches it needs to become a sincere contender in the gaming ring. We are honored by the opportunity, and will prove that it was an immensely positive choice.
Andrew Spinks, the CEO of Re-Logic, agreeed saying that he too was excited about the joint venture, and hoped that Re-Logic could help the game get the attention it needs. As it stands, Re-Logic are only assuming a publisher role and Quadro Delta will continue developing Pixel Piracy, which is still in Early Access on Steam. How this will work out is anyone’s guess. If you would like to check out the game head over to Pixel Piracy’s Steam page, or alternatively take a look at the Humble Store.
