Rocksteady’s New Batman Title Could Already Have A Villian
Late, late last week Friday a new rumour emerged regarding Rocksteady’s new Batman title, with information suggesting that the studio was preparing to unveil their third title in the Arkham series in a few days. Gamestop received some promotional materials, and one Dutch journalist even suggested that he had seen some of the game at an event hosted by Rocksteady.
So as it stands, everyone thinks that this month’s Game Informer cover will feature the Caped Crusader. But if that really is going to be the reveal of the month, who’s he going to go up against?

If you know the ending to Arkham City, you’ll know that Rocksteady took a giant leap and did something I don’t see them reversing at all. That leaves a wide gap for a main protagonist for their third title, but it seems that he may have already cropped up in Arkham City. In fact, an official Batman Facebook page is already teasing Hush’s importance in the new Arkham title.
The Batman: Hush Facebook page posted an image of the villain from Arkham City, with the text “Remember a little appearance by somebody in Arkham City? Well things may be about to get more interesting next month…” Now the page isn’t run by fans, but rather by Warner Bros, the publishers of the Arkham titles. Could this be an early hint as to who Batman will go toe to toe with in their new title? Well, considering Hush has made himself look like Bruce Wayne, it’s sounding pretty believable.
I just hope that Warner Bros. don’t tout him as the new, big bad guy and then pull a Black Mask like they did in Origins. In fact, let’s just hope Rocksteady’s Batman is a return to form for the little speed bump that was last year’s entry.
