The Last Of Us Is Headed To The PS4
In today’s most unsurprising rumour news, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us could be headed to Sony’s next-generation console later this year, making it the only first-party AAA title currently slated for release on the console in 2014 currently.
The news comes from Turkish website Multiplayer, who cite Sercan Sulun, PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager, as a source in their article which suggests that The Last of US will see a physical and digital release on the PS4 later this year. It will apparently include a visual overhaul and all the DLC release for the title, including Left Behind.

“There is no information about a new The Last of Us game but I can share this knowledge; as of this summer, The Last of Us will be on the PS4. Both on PSN and physically.”
“The PS4 version will also include the DLC so you will be able to play ‘Left Behind’ as well.”
It’s hardly a “out there’ rumour by any stretch, and I think it would be far more surprising for Sony to turn around and say that this wasn’t happening. What is interesting is that, if true, The Last of Us will be the only AAA first-party title currently set for release on the PS4 in 2014, after Sucker Punch’s Infamous: Second Son hit shelves yesterday.
Not that it should worry you just yet. E3 is just around the corner.
Either way, have you been waiting to play on of the best games of the last generation? Well, you’re in luck, and I’m pretty sure a few thousand wouldn’t mind doubling down on their purchase just to experience it all again.
