Even More Titanfall Maps, Modes And More Leaked
We’re just a week away from the release a Titanfall. A week people! While I won’t try and hide my utter excitement for the game, I will say that I’m hoping for a bit more than what I got to play in the beta, in terms of maps, game modes and a few surprises Respawn has yet to show everyone.
Some of those might have just been ticked off the list though, with a new leak confirming a few more details about the highly anticipated shooter.

A tipster on Reddit has posted a plethora of new details, with some confirming previous rumours and others starting whole new ones. First up, this new rumour supports one posted back in February, which suggested that Titanfall will feature 15 maps in total. It seems like this is almost a certainty now, and having a large number such as that is expected of a multiplayer only title.
The game could also feature a new game mode called Pilot Hunter. Much like Attrition (or Team Deathmatch) Pilot Hunter will involve the two teams attempting to get as many ills as possible, however this time only Pilot kills are registered. Creep kills will still go towards counting down your Titan timer, but they will no longer contribute to the game score, which could put this at the forefront of an eSports mode for Titanfall.
Titanfall will also apparently feature nine campaign matches that can be played from either the IMC or Militia sides. Each match will feature unique chatter between troops and suits before the game begins, with each of the nine matches consisting of five Attrition and four Hardpoint matches. Not much left to variation of this is true, but still interesting to see the opportunity to dive deeper into the game’s encompassing narrative.
And then of course come some previously secret gameplay details. Titanfall will offer its own form of “Prestige” mode, allowing players to level up to the “New Generation’. That means a reset of level, weapon unlocks and challenges, but players will be rewarded with a new badge and the ability to keep all of their previous burn cards. Another new addition is Turrets, which will be placed around certain maps. These turrets are apparently extremely tough, requiring several Titans to take them down. Alternatively, they can be hacked by pilots to work for them, adding a new dynamic to map control.
Also, ziplines. Because why not?
Again, all of these are rumours from a “reliable Reddit” source, but thankfully we only have a few days to wait to see if any of them are true.
