EA Is Giving Away Free Games In Return For Your Love
Winning (losing?) the award for Worst Company in the US two years in a row clearly shook something inside EA because the company has launched a new initiative aimed at making people like them.
We’re not making this up, they just want to be loved… while extorting you for money.

The plan is that EA will start giving away Origin games to PC users for free because if anyone understands neglect it’s the PC master race sitting high up on their liquid cooled thrones. The initiative, called On The House, is now offering a copy of Dead Space free of charge until Thursday May 8.
Dead Space, guys! A game that already has two sequels is now free. If you haven’t already played it or gotten it years ago through a Steam sale then hop on that right now!
I’m sorry, this is as sad as Microsoft’s Games with Gold program.
On the Origin web page, EA says it is offering free titles because “we’re gamers too”.Well, gamers don’t give other gamers games that are six years old and expect them to be appreciative. Granted, it’s perhaps the best one in the Dead Space series but that’s a different discussion entirely.
What it comes down to is EA wanting to be your friend but still wanting all your money.
