Dragon Age: Inquisition Looks Absolutely Gorgeous
We haven’t seen, or heard, much about BioWre’s upcoming Dragon Age sequel, aside for some leaked gameplay footage and character information here and there. What we really want to see is the game in action, and while a trailer released yesterday doesn’t exactly give us that, it doesn’t manage to disappoint.
In fact, I’d say this is better than gameplay, because nothing has got me more excited to get lost in the world of Inquisition quite like this.

According to BioWare boss Aaryn Flynn, everything above is in-game footage, which just blows my mind even more. It’s great to see what the Frostbite 4 engine can do with some real artistic passion behind it, rather than just wanting to recreate real life.
The lighting, the water, flames, it’s all there on show and it makes me want to dive head first into the third entry into the Dragon Age franchise, despite the not so stellar second act. Obviously the game will look different on older hardware, but this short glimpse bodes well for those planning to get the game on PC and next-generation consoles.
Dragon Age: Inquisition will release at the end of this year for Xbox One, PS4, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Get excited.
