South Park: The Stick Of Truth Tosses Uplay Aside
It’s a good day to be a PC gamer, especially if you happen to be excited for the upcoming South Park: The Stick of Truth. Nobody likes Uplay or Origin and even my brief encounters with it on consoles have made me dislike the services.
Obsidian Entertainment has confirmed that South Park: The Stick of Truth rejects Uplay in favour of Steamworks to make it a fully Steam integrated title.

“No, Uplay will not be featured in SP:SOT,” Obsidian confirmed on on Twitter. “It’s a Steam game, with Steam achievements, etc,” the developer later added.
Most Ubisoft games may be available on Steam but they still startup via the Uplay PC app. This is great news for Stick of Truth which will finally release on March 6 for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
