What Is Fallout: Shadow Of Boston?
Well, at its most basic level Fallout: Shadow of Boston is a IMDB entry. Upon closer analysis you’ll notice it’s little more than a dubious rumour but we do gobble Fallout rumours up with a vociferous appetite and I’m more than a little hungry so let’s entertain that rumour.
The game is yet another in a string of Fallout 4 rumours and it’s even got a quasi-plausible 2017 release date. According to the information Bethesda’s follow-up is set in Boston, and involves the MIT-borne ‘Institute’ faction.

Now, Fallout: Shadows of Boston has appeared on IMDB, and the entry was updated February 1 with a host of cast members for the unannounced, possibly fictitious, game. In fact, these castings are far too numerous and baiting to be taken seriously.
Shadows of Boston apparently stars Ron Perlman and Three-Dog actor Erik Dellums as well as Metal Gear Solid’s Paul Eiding, Fallout 3′s Peter Gil, and Skyrim’s Jeff Baker. The voice of Mario Charles Martinet is in there too.
It gets better, the entry states the game is being written by Obsidian’s Chris Avellone and Erik Caponi of 2K Games.
Smells more like a wishlist than anything to consider with an appreciable amount of credibility. However, a rumour is both true and false until proven to be either so keep your fingers crossed if you’re among the many yearning for a new Fallout game.
In all likelihood this is probably a hoax.
