Dying Light Will Have Dynamic Side Quests And Randomised Events
In an exclusive interview with Examiner, Techland Producer Tymon Smektala confirmed that Dying Light will indeed have side quests and special, and randomised, “dynamic” events. Dying Light is a first-person survival horror game set in a zombie apocalypse, with a massive open world.
Smektala said in the interview that there’s a whole story you can focus on in Dying Light, but they are of the persuasion that gameplay is of the utmost importance. Following this train of thought, there will be many diversions you can participate in.

There are easily more than a hundred side quests which give you a better perspective of the world of Dying Light. There are also dynamic encounters where randomised events occur that you are free to participate in. In most cases, you can help survivors, increase your reputation within the quarantine zone, which leads to more quests and benefits. Add to this challenges, arcade missions which require you to go from point A to point B in a set time, and you have quite the variety of missions.
Smektala promises that the game will have a huge world for you to explore, with lots of activities to do besides the main storyline. Dying Light will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, PC, PS4 and Xbox One on 31 March 2014.
