Check Out The Console Comparisons For MGS V: Ground Zeroes
One Monday Hideo Kojima revealed what framerate and resolution all the versions of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes would run at on various consoles, complimented by a few screens to show off the difference.
But it’s sometimes hard to tell some of the differences from stills alone, which is why Kojima Productions decided to release a new video showing all the finer details in action. And it’s very clear who comes out on top.

It seems that if you have the choice, you really shouldn’t miss out on the PS4 copy of the title, which clearly looks far better than all of the other versions. It’s no competition between the older and current generation of consoles, but it’s easy to see where the Ps4 comes out on top of the Xbox One. Despite running at the same framerate, lighting and textures just look crisper on Sony’s console, echoing Kojima’s comments about it being the best console on the market.
That’s not to say the Xbox One version looks bad. It still looks absolutely spectacular on Microsoft’s consoles, and you’re probably never going to question it unless you have the Ps4 version running directly next to it. Something which we actually discussed in last night’s podcast.
So if you’re still in the market to pay the absurd asking price for Ground Zeroes, you can now make an educated decision based on the evidence above. Check out the video and let us know if you still think resolution doesn’t make a difference.
