It’s been a long and anxious wait, but Telltale have finally revealed when we will be able to jump back into their Walking Dead world, this time in the shoes of Season 1 heroine Clementine. According to the official listing on Xbox Live, The Walking Dead: Season 2 will debut on December 18th.
Which just so happens to be a week from today.

The very first episode, titled All That Remains, will release on Steam a day afterwards, with no exact PSN date being revealed. This new season will follow the episodic format of the first title, with new episodes releasing periodically. The asking price includes all five episodes of the series, and is currently sitting at $25.
Clementine, one of the main characters from Season 1, takes centre stage in this series. She’s a little bit older now, and already Telltale have teased meetings with old characters from the first title. Telltale also promises that decision made in Season 1, as well as the single episode expansion 400 Days, will impact the story going forward in Season 2.
Telltale have also teased new gameplay mechanics to further immerse players in the story, although the details surrounding these are still scarce.
But hey, that doesn’t really matter when the game is set to release in just a week’s time. Have you pre-ordered yet?
