Remember The Order: 1886 Trailer? The Real Game Apparently Looks A Lot Better
The PS4 launches in just two days locally, and with it comes a new generation of console gaming that we can all finally join in on. One thing that is not so great right now is the lack of real game changing exclusives from Sony’s side, with InFamous: Second Son being the standout title so far. Of course, there’s also The Order: 1886.
And according to Ready at Dawn, the visuals shown off during the announcement trailer at E3 are probably going to end up being worse than the final product.

Speaking with a fan over Twitter, Andrea Pessino, who is Founder and Chief Technical Officer of Ready at Dawn, suggested that The Order would run at a higher graphical fidelity than what was shown off during the reveal, which is incredibly impressive if accurate.
“of [sic] course I am biased[,] but yeah… graphic fidelity definitely exceeds the trailer,” he wrote. “You’ll see…”
Ready at Dawn also showed off some impressive tech demoes at Gamescom which seem to suggest that whatever engine they’re using for this new exclusive is pretty darn powerful. However I still remain a bit sceptical that actual gameplay will surpass the fantastic reveal trailer above, but I wouldn’t exactly mind being proven wrong on this.
Guess we just have to wait for some gameplay then, which won’t come soon enough.
