Lindsay Lohan Sues Rockstar For GTA V
At this juncture I could make a thousand different Lindsay Lohan jokes but nothing that the rest of the world’s media haven’t already said over and over again. Let’s be better than that and poke fun at someone different, someone nobody really seems to aim for like the Dalai Lama perhaps. Okay, this is proving difficult so let’s just move on.
Rumour has it that Lindsay Lohan has taken legal action against Rockstar for her supposed portrayal in Grand Theft Auto V.

TMZ cites anonymous sources for word that Lohan’s lawyers are putting together a suit over Rockstar’s supposed use of the actor’s image in the game, demanding “some serious money”.
There are three cited instances of Lohan’s likeness appearing. The first is that of the cover character although this is a baseless accusation as British actor and model Shelby Welinder has already revealed herself to be the source of the character.
The other two are perhaps more credible. The second is a mission in which the player is asked to escort actress Lacey Jonas away from the paparazzi. The third is another mission involving photographing a red-headed actor in what seems to be a fictionalised version of the Chateau Marmont, a hotel Lohan once lived in and still visits regularly.
Well, it wouldn’t be unfathomable for Rockstar to have done this but it does not necessarily mean that a lawsuit will follow after preliminary work is done. Even if there is a lawsuit, it wouldn’t achieve anything.
Ellen Page took issue with the use of her likeness for the character of Ellie in The Last of Us earlier this year but left it at that, no lawsuit necessary.
