It’s been one hell of a ride these past eight years, filled with incredible highs and woeful lows that we wish we could just forget. However, we’ve chosen to look back on this console generation with some fondness because nostalgia is a rather powerful hallucinogenic. Let’s focus on the good and forget about the fact that gaming industry could well be digging a hole for itself in some regards.
We’ve already taken a stab at selecting the best games to release on PS3 and Xbox 360 over the past eight years but it was far from an easy task. We can barely agree with each other so the chances of you agreeing with us, dear reader, are about as good as the odds of finding a game that doesn’t contain the voices of either Troy Baker or Nolan North.
