South Park: The Stick Of Truth Delayed…Again
Easily on of the highlights of this year’s rAge expo was the chance to see South Park: The Stick of Truth in action for the first time. Despite being a hands-off demo, and clearly some really old code, the game looked absolutely incredible and exactly the fan service that gamers were expecting.
Even more exciting was the release date plastered on the wall, which at the time read 13th of December. That, however, is not happening anymore.

Ubisoft, owners of the game after the THQ meltdown at the beginning of this year, have announced that the game will now release on March 6th in Europe, meaning we can expect it around that time too. The reason for the delay seems to be polish, as the developers and series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker feel that there is still more to be done.
“We always wanted the game to feel like you’re actually in an episode of South Park. Getting the game up to the crappy standards of the show has been a real challenge and we’re excited to say it’s taken way longer than we thought it would.”
It’s always hard having a game delayed, and even worse when said game was aiming to be the last big release of the year, but thankfully it’s not all doom and gloom for South Park fans today. With the news of the delay came a new 7 minute gameplay trailer as well, which should help ease the pain.
Or just remind you that you still have over 4 months to wait for this intriguing RPG to be in your hands.
