PS4 System Update 1.51 Incoming – Software Stability Improvements And UI Refinements Promised
Sony has confirmed that it will be releasing update 1.51 for the PS4 very soon.
Eric Lempel, vice president of Sony Network Entertainment, explained that this mandatory update will improve system software stability and make small UI refinements “such as clearly indicating when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time”.

Lempel also stated on the PlayStation Blog that automatic downloads for both system and game updates are enabled on the PS4 by default when it’s in stand-by mode. So if you want that feature off, best visit the options menu.
