New Team Fortress 2 Content On The Way
Team Fortress 2 has made a really great comeback by being free-to-play. Valve really showed how the business model is capable of giving gamers something to enjoy while still being able to monetise its efforts. For those unaware, Valve makes money through the sale of in-game items, such as hats, none of which lead to ‘pay-to-win’ efforts–which is a winner on its own.
Keeping Valve’s business model in mind, the company has revealed a new update called Mann vs. Machine. The upgrade will include a co-op tour called the ‘Two Cities Tour’ and it will be available inside the Mann vs. Machine mode. The mode will see players travel to a map called “Mannhatten” where they will fight against a wave of robots.

This tour is unlike other tours, because tactics and abilities–on the side of robots–has changed.
Following the Two Cities Tour is a killstreak reward kit that allows one to customise weapons with decorations, and things. Then, there’s a new community map called “Snakewater” that focuses on control point gameplay.
Doesn’t Valve just love gamers?
