Fallout 4 Trademark Registered
Last week we heard rumours of a new Fallout thanks to a mysterious teaser site but now there’s even more of a reason to get your hype on. A trademark has been filed for Fallout 4. Yes, this is happening.
As usual, this was spotted by the upstanding citizens of NeoGAF who noticed that Bethesda Softworks have registered a trademark in Europe for Fallout 4. The trademark covers all sorts of things from merchandising to clothing and most importantly – games.

Companies register trademarks all the time, it doesn’t mean anything. Warner Bros registers something like 10 different domains before it settles on a name for its new Batman Arkham game. However, the teaser site mentioned above suggests that something is going down on December 11 2013, could it be the announcement of Fallout 4 now that Bethesda has the trademark registered.
Curiously, the thesurvivor2299.com teaser site was traced by Reddit users to a fairly well-known Polish developer. Make of it what you will.
Suffice to say, depending on how much you want Fallout 4 to happen you will take this news with varying amounts of scepticism. I’d wait for an official announcement but at least there’s something to be optimistic about and the best part is that it will be a next-gen game.
