The Dead Space Devs Are Working On A Pretty Massive, Open-World Star Wars Title
EA has already announced that they plan to bring a lot of Star Wars titles over the next decade or so, but we’ve only really heard about Battlefront, and even that is still a bit of a mystery to us. Bioware is also reportedly working on their own title, but the one I’m probably most intrigued about is the work going on at Visceral Games, the developers of Dead Space.
And today, that interest just rocketed a little bit, after it was revealed that the studio is currently working on an open-world Star Wars title.

This was confirmed by EA Canada, who recently posted a job listing looking for “an experienced Animation director to help define and deliver on the vision for a major new next gen open world action game.” Another two executive job listings then suggested that EA Canada was working with Visceral Games on the project, with the studio revealing earlier this year that they were busy on a next-gen Star Wars title.
EA did announce last week that they planned to make Star Wars titles for the next 10 years, and I’m pretty sure we’re going to start seeing more and more of these titles as we head into the next generation of gaming.
That said, which are you most excited for?
