Yet Another Next-Gen Launch Title Has (Probably) Been Delayed
It’s not been a good two days for you if you happened to be someone who pre-ordered a PS4 or Xbox bundle. Yesterday Ubisoft dropped news that Watch Dogs had been delayed all the way until (earliest) April next year, leaving those with bundle pre-orders and high hopes a little bit high and dry. Well, not locally at least, because what bundles are we even getting?
And it seems like the only next-gen console reaching local shores has just taken another launch day hit, although I wouldn’t say it’s as bad. According to numerous reports, that website Kotaku claims to have verified, the new racing IP Driveclub has been delayed until 2014. Cue sad face in 3…2…wait you actually care about this game?

The real problem here is the fact that Driveclub was being offered as a Day-One incentive for PS Plus owners, allowing them to pick up nearly the entire game when the PS4 released for absolutely nothing. Should this delay be true, those plans are probably out the window, leaving you with Killzone: Shadow Fall and Knack as potential launch exclusives for you to grab on day one. And let’s be serious, there’s only one real choice here.
But if you managed to play Driveclub at rAge and somehow enjoyed it, then this may come as bad news to you late in the week. And for that I’m sorry.
But seriously, you actually liked Driveclub?
