Sony Doesn’t Want You Seeing Ellen Page’s Breasts
I bet I could have gotten more views if I used the word boobs. Say what you will about Beyond: Two Souls, pretty much everybody else, but it’s at least trying to be mature and serious. Even if creator David Cage doesn’t fully grasp what that means. That said, it doesn’t mean the players engaging in the game are going to be nearly as mature as the game is trying to be.
Sony is now trying to get rid of nude screenshots of the game’s Jodie (Ellen Page) that have appeared online as a result of some intrepid gamers who seemed to think that porn doesn’t offer enough of a challenge.

The images first appeared in a Reddit forum earlier this month, though an Imgur album containing the shots has since been flushed.
There is a shower scene in Beyond but it’s done so as to avoid showing any nudity and thanks to the fixed camera in the game, you can’t change that. However, Kotaku reports that users can access alternate camera angles when playing on a PlayStation 3 debug console. Of course the first you do in exploiting this is to gaze upon Ellen Page in the nude because those polygons are so damn sexy.
Has a celebrity ever had to worry about nude character models of themselves leaking across the internet?
“The images are from an illegally hacked console and is very damaging for Ellen Page,” a Sony representative reportedly told Cinema Blend. “It’s not actually her body. I would really appreciate if you can take the story down to end the cycle of discussion around this.”
The Eskimo Press reports that Sony said the images are to be pulled for “legal reasons.”
It’s a little worrying that still so damn eager to see pixellated breasts but also that this isn’t the first time such a thing has happened in a Quantic Dream game. By adjusting the camera in Heavy Rain players could get an eyeful of one of the protagonists, Madison, naked.
Is this something built into the game for when Quantic Dream developers with their special debug consoles need to “release some tension”? Or is David Cage secretly building a collection of nude character models for every actor he gets onto his motion capture stage? Can you imagine the nude images he must have of the who played Scott Shelby?!
