rAge 2013: We Talk Ocean Dunes With Battlefield 4 Producer Daniel Matros
We did a lot of interviews at rAge this year, but I have to admit that sitting down with Battlefield 4 producer Daniel Matros had to be my favourite. After giving a lecture at my university a few days before, I had chatted to Daniel quite a bit about games in general and come to realise one thing.
AAA developers are people too. Seriously, I’m not shitting you.

I had the chance to talk to Daniel on camera (not a sexual innuendo) about what you can look forward to when Battlefield 4 launches later this month. Besides talking about Levolution, which is still a retarded name, Daniel revealed some of the new features that Frostbite 3 brought to the table, such as insane sea battles, falling skyscrapers and some intense weather effects.
Not only that, but DICE seem to have addressed a lot of the concerns that players had with Battlefield 3, namely the bare bones single-player and odd multiplayer quirks here and there.
Oh, I also managed to sneak in a question about Bad Company 3 and whether DICE is currently working on the sequel. So hit up the video above to find out what he said about that too.
