Golden Joystick Awards 2013 Winners
It’s awards season, folks and just today in fact the eGamer team started making preliminary preparations for our very own awards but for now you’ll have to be content with the winners from this year’s Golden Joystick Awards. The timeframe for these awards is a little strange though because it covers games that released any time between around September last year to September this year. That means Assassin’s Creed IV, CoD: Ghosts, any next-gen launch titles and even Batman; Arkham Origins were all out of contention. They’ll appear on the list of nominees for the 2014 edition of the awards.
In fact, the awards ceremony was held on the same day that Arkham Origins released, this past Friday. There weren’t any real surprises amongst the winners although GTA V winning is rather interesting but then the awards are based on public voting.

Curiously, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt took the Most Wanted award ahead of nominees such as PS4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, Ken Levine scooped up a Lifetime Achievement award.
