Destiny’s New Trailer Is Full Of Gorgeous Next-Gen Goodness
I’ll be honest, Destiny really didn’t blow mw away at this year’s E3 with its worldwide gameplay debut. For a project that is sounding so ambitious and game changing, the demo was quite boring, making Destiny look like Borderlands with a Halo makeover. We haven’t seen much of Bungie’s new title since then, but that somewhat changed yesterday.
And just like the recently revealed box art, Destiny’s new trailer is pretty bloody incredible.

This new trailer takes players to the moon and introduces one of the game’s main enemy types, named “The Hive”. And now, they don’t sound like the Flood at all. According to the trailer, the moon will act as one of the main centrepieces for the game, with players also able to visit planets such as Venus and Mars.
Even more exciting was the reveal of an open beta for Destiny, which will be made available to those who pre-order the MMO/shooter hybrid. The sad news is that the beta will only launch a few months into next year, which is disappointing for those really wanting to get their hands on Bungie’s new creation. Like me.
But the trailer above should keep you at bay until then. Or pick you up and toss you over, it could go ether way really.
