Delays Seem To Be Happening More Regularly, DriveClub Is Next
Sony has come out and said that they have had to make the difficult decision of delaying DriveClub. The game, that is said to be truly innovative, requires a bit more time from the company to deliver on their vision.
DriveClub is a socially-connected racing game that was originally planned to launch alongside the PlayStation 4. However, not anymore. DriveClub’s delay is because Sony wants to ‘realise the next-gen racing vision.’

However, Sony isn’t even worried, because they note in the press release that there will be more than enough other games to play in the meantime. Except Watch_Dogs, of course.
I have a peculiar feeling that this will not be the last game to be delayed, and we’re seeing companies trying to scramble for better release windows. Releasing an array of new games alongside a brand new console is always great, however consumers are not always able to afford this. Subsequently, a new release window should help consumers conserve their budget to purchase all the technology and games they want without much fuss.
DriveClub will, therefore, launch in early 2014.
