Call of Duty: Ghosts Trades Zombies For Aliens
If you’re like me, then you’re probably pretty excited for the release of Call of Duty: Ghosts in just over a week’s time, especially since this is probably the most promising Call of Duty title the world has seen in a while. While the single player component will probably still have a tough time convincing you that it’s serious enough to actually be taken, you know, seriously, the multiplayer is looking just as good an improvement as you’ve come to expect from the series, but now Activision has revealed that there’s even more.
Introducing Extraction, a different take on the series’ tried and tested Zombies formula.

Now, of course, the zombie mode was made popular by developers Treyarch, who so happened to develop the last Call of Duty. So Extraction is an all new mode that we really don’t know anything about, aside from the fact that it will probably feature some aliens as pictured above. Anyone else think that they look pretty much like StarCraft 2’s Zerg?
According to reports, Extraction will be a co-operative mode that will unlock after the first five missions in single-player are completed. The leak as details some things that you should already know by now, like the fact that the game will come on two discs for Xbox 360, and that the multiplayer maps have some really cheesy names. Not surprising, no?
Regardless, I’m interested to hear a bit more about Extraction before Ghosts drops on November 5th. Stay tuned.
