What’s The Best Way To Spend Download Or Install Time?
With the large amount of updates that games receive nowadays, coupled with shaky internet, this can sometimes lead to quite a way before one can play a game. Furthermore, install requirements for games also create a bit of frustration as it can take quite a few minutes before the game is on the hard-drive.
The anticipation of playing a new game only to see that it needs to install, and then update, can be seriously infuriating. So much so that it sort of dulls the hype, at times.

Is there a good way to spend the time when games are installing or updating? Is there a way that can keep one as excited and ready even though this is going on. How do you spend your time during updates, and what do you think is the best time?
Whenever a game is updating or installing I try my best to keep my mind busy and away from the game. I want to keep all my excitement bottled up, and to do that, I usually clean things. It may sound weird, however when I start cleaning things around me I seem to forget about what is going on. It is like a mode I get into.
A few minutes later I realise there’s a game that’s installing and it’s usually done. With a PC it is a lot easier. The internet is a great way to stay entertained. Those work for me. What’s yours?
