Dendi Just Got Hooked Into rAge
Someone who was watching over my shoulder while I typed this up commented that my title was lame. But you know what, one of the best Dota 2 players in the world is going to be making an appearance at the Really Awesome Gaming Expo next weekend, so I really couldn’t give a shit. In case you haven’t been online for the past few hours, you might want to know that Na’Vi team member Dendi will be attending rAge 2013.

Megarom and SteelSeries announced the news earlier today, revealing that the world’s best Pudge player will be attending the entire weekend, signing autographs, posing for photos and giving some presentations on the main stage. Hell, we could even see a friendly game of Dota 2 played, but that’s just me wishing out aloud.
In case you don’t know why I’m having such a nerdgasm because of this announcement, let me enlighten you a little bit. Dendi is one of five team members in Dota 2 team Na’Vi, who were the first team to win the Dota 2 International tournament hosted by Valve. Na’Vi also placed second in both last and this year’s International events, making them easily one of the best Dota 2 teams in the world.
Dendi is notoriously famous for playing an outrageous Pudge, so much so that Valve has no removed the infamous “Fountain Hook” ability from the game. He’s also an awesome sportsman, and is always seen congratulating fellow adversaries and rivals. Basically, Dendi is the Dota 2 player everyone wishes they were in a game with.
So be on the look out for him next weekend at the Coca-Cola Dome. And kudos to Megarom and SteelSeries for organizing this. Just make sure the man has decent security, because shit might get real really fast.
